Rejoice Titanfall players and fans as you won’t have to pay to play any of the upcoming game modes being developed for Titanfall.
As you’ve probably seen by now, while the release of Titanfall was extremely well received, there were certain things that the game lacked and the developer Respawn entertainment is definitely working to fix any issues they are able to spot.
One of the things that Titanfall lacked was diversity in its game modes. While the game is definitely a blast to play and a breath of fresh air, it didn’t have much to offer in terms of multiplayer game modes. Other flagship FPS titles like Call of Duty and Battlefield have a huge variety of modes to choose from which keeps those games fresh and Titanfall currently doesn’t offer that luxury so Respawn entertainment has decided to take care of that problem.
Just recently, Vince Zampella confirmed on twitter that all future game modes released for Titanfall will be free of all costs and won’t be a part of any paid DLC which is definitely a decision to keep the players interested in the game for a much longer period of time.

This news brings great relief to a lot of people who are currently playing / looking to play the game as often times companies can just get away with milking people of their money for completely irrelevant downloads and Respawn Entertainment is definitely taking a step in the right direction, if they manage to keep up this pace then Titanfall might pretty soon be high up on the list of competitive FPS shooters being played out in the big E-Sports tournaments, say Major League Gaming or Intel Extreme Masters.
Although the news is great, Respawn is still keeping people in the dark on when the next expansion of the game will be and what it holds for its players. Another thing that is unclear is that whether or not the newly released game modes will support the original maps of the game or if they are going to be more optimized for the new map releases that Respawn has planned.
All said and done, the news is great and will definitely be received well by the fans. Respawn Entertainment is playing all their cards right, add this to the list of reasons you should probably buy Titanfall.
